Avici Crypto Card Overview
Avici turns crypto holdings into everyday spending money without forcing a sale. You deposit stablecoins or other supported assets into a smart contract you control, and the app opens a matching USD balance on a Visa card. When you spend, funds settle from your own escrow, so your tokens never leave your custody until the moment you actually use them.
The platform fits people who hold crypto for the long run but still need to pay rent, order groceries, or book a flight. Freelancers and remote workers who get paid in crypto can also use Avici's virtual USD and EUR accounts to receive salaries or client payments, which convert into USDC automatically. Traders who never spend their holdings will not get much value from it, but anyone who wants liquidity without triggering a taxable sale will.
Under the hood, Avici runs a self custodial smart wallet built with account abstraction, so login happens through passkeys instead of seed phrases. The wallet supports Solana along with several EVM chains, and a relayer covers gas on most transactions. On top of the card, Avici offers low fee swaps, instant top ups, multiple virtual cards for budgeting, and a Grow section for yield on idle stablecoins or SOL.
What separates Avici from other crypto debit cards is the credit line feature: deposit SOL, borrow USDC or EURC against it, and keep earning yield on that SOL the whole time the loan stays open. Combined with zero card transaction fees and no FX markup from Avici itself, it gives holders a way to spend, borrow, and earn at once, all while the underlying assets stay under their own keys.
Avici Crypto Card Key features
-
Self Custodial Smart Wallet
Account abstraction removes the need for seed phrases, so you log in with Google or iCloud and approve transactions with biometrics. A relayer covers gas on most chains, and you can still export your Solana key if you want it.
-
Visa Cards Backed by Escrow
You deposit USDC into a smart contract you control, and a matching credit balance shows up on a Visa card. Spending draws from that escrow, so nothing gets sold or handed over to a third party.
-
Virtual USD and EUR Accounts
Named accounts let you receive salary, freelance payments, or remittances through ACH, Fedwire, or SEPA. The fiat converts to USDC automatically and lands in your Avici wallet.
-
SOL Credit Line
Deposit SOL and borrow USDC or EURC without selling your position. Avici pays yield on the collateral the whole time the loan stays open.
-
Grow Yield Products
Stablecoins and WSOL earn yield with no lockup period, and you can withdraw whenever you want. Higher yield options come with insurance backing for lower risk.
-
Multi Card Budgeting
Create separate virtual cards for rent, travel, or subscriptions, each with its own spending limit. Every card comes with full transaction history and instant top ups from your wallet.
Avici Crypto Card Fees
-
Card transaction fee Avici charges $0 on card transactions and $0 on top ups.
-
FX markup Avici adds a 0 percent FX markup, though Visa may apply its own cross border fee of roughly 0.4 to 1 percent on non USD spends.
-
Card issuance A virtual Platinum card costs $15 first then $10 for later cards, a virtual Signature card costs $30 the first year then $20 a year, and physical cards run $50 one time for Platinum or $75 then $20 a year for Signature.
-
Card delivery Standard delivery is free but untracked (3 to 4 weeks), while priority delivery costs $15 in the US or $50 internationally.
-
ATM withdrawals Platinum cards charge $1 plus 0.65 percent per withdrawal with a $250 daily limit and a $0.60 decline or inquiry fee, while Signature cards have $0 ATM fees.

Been using it for a few days now, and can honestly say it's the best, and easiest one I've used. They've built a first of its kind self custody bank, which I believe is going to revolutionise crypto off-ramping. ... You can literally deposit any token you want, convert it to your balance and tap your card anywhere with 0 markup... the app itself is far more superior and user friendly... @avici is setting that standard.

if you stand for ownership, clean ux and integrity of the team behind the products you use, check out @avici ... Avici is an internet-native neobank. they provide credit cards, virtual bank accounts... great customer support. the founder... dmed me when I mentioned that I cannot use Avici in my country... if you appreciate good ui and care about the integrity of people behind what you use everyday - Avici is for you.

We all saw crypto cards come and go... That's what makes $AVICI | @avici worth watching... Avici gives users a secured Visa line that mirrors their on-chain holdings... You try it once and you stop using anything else to spend your crypto. That's the virtuous feedback loop... if you missed Revolut… are you gonna miss this one too?

Is Avici Crypto Card safe & legit?
Avici comes from a doxxed team, Sitaram Kakarlamudi, Abhishek Tiwari and Varun Lohade, who post openly on X and answer support questions directly. Your funds sit in a smart contract you control, so Avici, the card issuer and Visa cannot touch your principal without your approval, and the model has earned praise in the Solana community for genuine self custody and responsive founders. The main risks are standard for crypto: smart contract bugs and shifting card regulations by country, so test with a small deposit first, but no scam signs or hidden custody tricks show up in how the product works.

if you have their premium sub, i can match it with our Signature card or send you $20 to start with
btw if you use a neobank to farm tokens or get points, question yourself if you have true ownership and exposure to its growth.- 37 replies
