Hylo So Overview

Hylo is a Solana protocol that turns one pool of liquid staking tokens into two different assets: a stablecoin called hyUSD and a leveraged SOL token called xSOL. Instead of borrowing against collateral or opening a margin position, users just hold the token that matches what they want. hyUSD holders get a dollar priced asset backed by staked SOL, and xSOL holders get amplified exposure to SOL price moves, roughly three times, without a loan or a liquidation engine attached to their wallet.

The protocol is built for people who already live inside Solana DeFi. Traders who want leveraged SOL exposure without perpetual futures or margin top ups can buy xSOL and hold it. Yield seekers who want a return on stable value can deposit LSTs like JitoSOL to mint hyUSD, then stake it in the stability pool to collect rewards drawn from staking yield and protocol fees. Long term SOL holders who want upside without funding costs also fit well here, since xSOL rebalances on its own as price moves.

The mechanics work through a shared collateral pool. Deposit JitoSOL or HyloSOL, and the system prices hyUSD and xSOL so their combined value always matches the pool. When SOL drops, the protocol shifts value from xSOL toward hyUSD to keep the stablecoin overcollateralized. When SOL rises, xSOL captures the gain. A collateral ratio tracks the health of the whole system, and fees adjust automatically: cheap to mint when the pool is healthy, more expensive to redeem when it isn't. During stress, the stability pool can temporarily convert staked hyUSD into xSOL to restore balance, then unwind once conditions normalize.

What sets Hylo apart is the absence of external pricing or counterparties. There's no oracle feed setting the split between hyUSD and xSOL, and no lender on the other side of a leveraged position. The value split comes from the LST collateral itself, which also means yield on hyUSD comes from real staking rewards rather than emissions. The protocol runs its own validator and LST, HyloSOL, so stake directed through the platform feeds back into the yield loop instead of leaving the system. For anyone holding SOL or dollar value on Solana, Hylo offers a way to get leverage or yield without leaving the chain or trusting a third party with custody.

Hylo So Key features

  • Liquidation Free Leverage with xSOL

Hold xSOL to get roughly 3x leveraged exposure to SOL without margin calls or borrowing costs. The protocol adjusts leverage automatically as price moves, so you never face a forced liquidation.

  • LST Backed Stablecoin hyUSD

Deposit JitoSOL or HyloSOL to mint hyUSD, a dollar pegged token backed by staked SOL rather than external shorts or oracles. The value split between hyUSD and xSOL keeps the stablecoin side steady on its own.

  • Stability Pool Yield

Stake hyUSD in the stability pool to earn yield pulled from staking rewards and protocol fees. Because only part of the hyUSD supply sits in the pool at once, stakers capture a concentrated share of the returns.

  • Automatic Rebalancing and Fees

Hylo watches its collateral ratio and shifts mint and redeem fees to push the system back toward balance during price swings. In heavy stress, the stability pool can convert hyUSD into xSOL for a short time to restore health, then unwind the position.

  • XP Points for Holding

Wallets earn XP each day based on how much hyUSD, xSOL, or staked tokens they hold, with bonus multipliers for xSOL. Points build up across seasons through leaderboards and referral boosts, ahead of any future rewards program.

How to use Hylo So

  1. Connect your wallet

Go to the Hylo site and connect a Solana wallet like Phantom or Solflare. Your wallet holds the LSTs and tokens you use in the protocol.

  2. Pick xSOL or hyUSD

Choose xSOL for leveraged SOL exposure or hyUSD for a stable, yield bearing dollar position. Each token pulls from the same LST collateral pool.

  3. Deposit or swap in

Deposit JitoSOL or HyloSOL to mint hyUSD, or swap into xSOL directly. Check the preview for entry price, effective leverage, and fees before you confirm.

  4. Stake for yield

Move your hyUSD into the stability pool or a vault to start earning. Returns come from LST staking rewards plus protocol fees.

  5. Track your position

Open the portfolio view to check entry value, current value, and PnL. Watch the collateral ratio, since fees and rebalancing shift as it moves.

  6. Collect XP over time

Keep holding hyUSD, staked hyUSD, or xSOL to earn wallet bound XP each day. Use a referral link when you sign up if the current season offers a boost.

I reached Rank 13 on Hylo
And will make over $5000 of profit this month:
Right now, this protocol is the biggest money printer on Solana
Whales make millions, and average users making thousands
Last week I minted xSOL (2x leveraged SOL token) when Solana was at $200
Right now it's traded at $235, and xSOL at $2.7, already in a huge profit
In the same time I deposited xSOL to RateX with 60% yield, and 25x XP on Hylo Airdrop
I took some profits, with half of it I minted hyloSOL+ LST and sHYUSD stablecoin
Again deposited both on RateX LP gives 10-20% yield with 8x points multiplier
Profits from xSOL I distribute to those 2 assets, to generate yield and continue generate points with no leverage
BUT, this month we will have SOLANA ETF approval, that's why prices will go even higher, and it's the best moment to use xSOL, hyloSOL+
SOL could go over $250 this month, so in the same time you will make a lot of money and get 25x and 8x points multiplier
For example, yesterday someone minted 167k xSOL tokens worth over $400k means whales preparing for Solana ETF
TL;DR — Right now is the best time to farm and the best time to make money by minting xSOL, then taking profits into hyloSOL+ and sHYUSD

How @hylo_so turns Liquid Staking Yield Into User-Owned Income
One of the coolest things about Hylo is that the yield generated by your hyUSD doesn't get siphoned off by the protocol or middlemen. It goes straight back to holders.
Here's how: hyUSD is fully backed by on-chain bonds composed of liquid staking tokens (LSTs). These LSTs earn staking rewards on Solana's validator network, and every reward is automatically reflected in hyUSD's balance. You don't need to claim, compound, or move funds around - your dollars just earn.
This design turns what used to be passive, centralized income into a fully user-owned experience. It's like turning every stablecoin in your wallet into a mini staking node, without needing to trust custodians or external vaults.

most stablecoin protocols on Solana try to reinvent the wheel and fail at the basics, capital efficiency and yield sustainability.
what @hylo_so is building with its dual-token model (hyUSD + xSOL) backed by LSTs is arguably one of the smartest pieces of infrastructure in the ecosystem right now.

Is Hylo So safe & legit?

Fhase Labs built Hylo, and OtterSec audited the protocol with findings addressed before launch. Backers include Robot Ventures, Colosseum, and Solana Ventures, and the team keeps its validator and yield data public on chain for anyone to check. No custodial setup or major red flags stand out, though smart contract risk and LST performance risk remain, as with any leveraged DeFi protocol, so size positions to what you can afford to lose.
